When I was 5 months pregnant with my 2nd baby I unexpectedly found out I had triple negative breast cancer that had spread to my liver, lungs, bones and brain. I unfortunately had to terminate the pregnancy in order to start treatment. Today I’m in treatment and I wear my pendant as a reminder of my strength – my toddler daughter also wears her pendant and when I look at it I’m reminded of the reasons I keep fighting day in and day out. Some days are tough, really really tough, but family and friends and the love around me keep me going. I always say there is no other option but to keep going.
