Several years ago when I was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia, I was really surprised–I felt fine and had the support of my family and great friends. This last six months has been a little more difficult–my numbers have gone up so much that I kind of lost the positive attitude that I had carried with me since the diagnosis. My dear friend Blanca reminded me of how important it is to be positive and live life fully each day. The traveling pendant that she shared means the world to me and is a symbol of the fact that we are all on a journey each day. I will definitely start 2024 with a renewed sense of hope and joy. Thanks Blanca for the wonderful reminder! You are the best friend and I love you!
