Carson came into this world on April 25, 2005 and left us on April 14, 2023. Weeks before his 18th birthday and a month before his High School graduation. Carson gave a hard fought battle to an unexpected disease that sadly struck our perfectly healthy, athletic boy. Carson lived a full, fun-filled life. He enjoyed life to its absolute fullest. He was kind, energetic and had a smile that lit up a room. Carson’s passion was football and his friends. He was loyal and he loved fiercely. During his time in the hospital, he showed us all that there is kindness in the world. Carson ignited love and compassion in our local community as well as surrounding communities. The support and the prayers from friends and strangers was humbling.
My heart aches every single day, but I move forward one day at a time, just as Carson would want and expect. I find my strength in Carson’s memory and ask myself often “what would Carson do?” My new passion is to share Carson’s love for life through my own. I want to honor Carson. My hope is for everyone to help keep Carson’s love alive… smile daily, make someone else smile, love fiercely and always live life to its fullest. #8
I’m sharing my Strength Traveling Pendent with a very special friend. My hope is that she too will share her story. I admire her and her son’s strength daily. I’m blessed that God brought them into our lives when we needed it most.
