My story is minor compared to so many others, yet it was still a difficult journey as I learned to share my life, my home, my family with an unexpected guest for 9 months. My world was turned upside down as I tried to balance my job and all the support our guest needed. Each day was a sacrifice and though I am honored to have seen this person through an unimaginable period, it still required all the strength I could muster.
