This pendant was given to me by my future Mother In Law as I start my journey with Stage 4 colon cancer.
I am 52, mother of two and grandmother of 2. I was diagnosed with colon cancer after surgery to remove an ovarian tumor turned into a resection of part of my bowel. Pathology confirmed stage 4 cancer. I am starting chemotherapy this month.
So many emotions go with this diagnosis and the internet has me statistically dead within 2 years, but surely less than 5 years. I have decided that I will not go that easily since I am getting ready to marry the man of my dreams and I WILL watch my grandkids grow up.
